Overview

Professional American Management Alliance (PAMA) founded in the state of Delaware, USA, is a nonprofit, membership-based educational organization that assists individuals and enterprises in the development of organizational effectiveness, the primary sustainable competitive advantage in a global economy

PAMA is an affiliated member of International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO), American Management Association (AMA) and American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) to provide leadership to individuals, organizations, and society to achieve work-related competence, performance, and fulfillment.

The range of PAMA public programs is broad and multifaceted, encompassing all of the disciplines of management in every type and size of organization: finance; general and administrative services; strategic management; human resources; information systems and technology; insurance and risk management; international management; manufacturing; purchasing; research and development; sales and marketing; and a wide range of management development and interpersonal skills-related programs.

Within each of these disciplines, there are programs geared to various levels of professionalism. Some are for beginners who are about to take the first steps into management; some are for middle management professionals who are seeking to keep their skills up-to-date; and other programs are for upper and middle managers who are interested in learning the latest trends and techniques of management.

One of the best-known PAMA programs is The Management Course. This course is designed to provide a hands-on practical grounding in management, finance, marketing, and leadership.

One segment of PAMA, our Top Management Activities, offers meetings for chief executive officers and other senior executives. These programs range from a one-week course on major problems of the CEO to briefings on current management topics of interest.

PAMA also uses non-traditional training techniques. There are self-paced courses, in print, audio and video, for use as individualized study programs or by organizations that wish to implement their own certificate-based programs. Colleges and universities as elements in their own continuing education courses in the field of business management often use these PAMA materials. In addition, using multimedia technology, PAMA's Interactive Series delivers self-paced training in various management topics to the desktop via CD-ROM. By combining the various elements of text, graphics, audio, and animation, this series creates a multisensory and interactive learning environment in which people can learn faster and retain more.

PAMA's Operation Enterprise gives high school and college students a dynamic introduction to the world of management. Courses held during vacation periods in various parts of the country, feature successful business people demonstrating the practical side of management in lively presentations and discussions with the students.

In addition, we have developed special Partnerships with local management training organizations in other key areas of the world.
